The KSH series tunnel oven is primarily designed for high-temperature drying and sterilization of medicinal glass bottles—such as those used for oral liquids and syrups—following final bottle washing and prior to filling. The equipment performs a complete sequence of operations, including mesh-belt buffering for bottle infeed, bottle preheating, high-temperature drying and sterilization, bottle cooling, and mesh-belt outfeed. The machine is controlled by a PLC and variable-frequency drives for main power on/off, features human–machine interface operation, and allows data display and storage on a touch screen, thereby complying with the requirements of the 2010 Edition of the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for Pharmaceuticals.
Key features:
►Adopts a new-type mesh belt, with stainless steel side baffles connected into a single unit via chains to prevent belt misalignment and bottle drop, while eliminating cross-contamination.
►The mesh belt uses wide-pitch chains, which facilitate faster heat transfer during heating and enable rapid cooling during heat dissipation, thereby extending service life.
► Features finned electric heating and a drawer-style design, ensuring long service life and easy maintenance.
► Indoor clean air is used to heat the vessel, and exhaust gases are removed from the bottom by an exhaust fan.
► Temperature monitoring points are strategically placed at various locations in the high-temperature section, providing a clear and immediate view of temperatures across each thermal zone.
►Integrated line interlock control: bottle extrusion stops the dryer and bottle washer.
